Reliance Industries Unveils Jio AI-Cloud Offer and New Services at AGM

Reliance Industries held its 47th Annual General Meeting on August 31, where Chairman Mukesh Ambani revealed the company’s latest plans involving artificial intelligence and announced the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer.
This new initiative will provide Jio users with up to 100 GB of free cloud storage, reflecting the company’s vision of making AI accessible to everyone.
The Jio AI-Cloud Welcome Offer is expected to roll out around Diwali.
It will offer users a secure platform for storing their digital content, including photos, videos, and documents.
Users will enjoy 100 GB of free storage and have the option to purchase additional space at competitive rates. Instructions for accessing the offer will be available closer to the launch.
In addition to the AI cloud storage, Jio is introducing several new services:
Jio TvOS: A new operating system for Jio Set Top Boxes, designed to deliver a smoother and more customised viewing experience with support for Ultra HD 4K, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos.
Jio Home IoT: This integration with Jio TvOS aims to enhance home connectivity and intelligence, complying with industry standards like Matter to ensure seamless operation of smart devices.
JioTV+: An integrated entertainment platform offering live TV, on-demand shows, and app access, including over 860 live TV channels and content from Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and Hotstar in High Definition.
Jio Phonecall AI: A new feature that uses AI to enhance phone calls, including capabilities to record, store, transcribe, summarise, and translate calls, with all data managed via Jio Cloud
